The Bichon Frise has a Wild and Unique relationship with Sailors, Painters, and Royalty as it moved around Europe and then moved to the New World.  It was recognized as a breed in 1973 by the AKC. The Bichon Frise is a happy dog that loves to be with families. The Bichon Frise is in the top 50 breeds of the AKC.
